A.O Clinic Karachi- has lowest adherence of Medical & Orthopedic Standards.

Constant Declining medical standards in A.O Clinic

A.O Clinic , Karachi is violating Medical & Orthopedic standards

A.O clinic as per my observation being mystery shopper is performing below the standards of medical and orthopedic practice around the world and with in Pakistan, in comparison with the medical fee charges are concerned they are not at lowest instead they are in middle , subsequently people belong to middle class can not afford such medical treatment for A.O Clinic and they are charging more in aspect of medical fee, they have their own brand of metal plates to be implanted into patients, where as in house medical store is not providing medical supplied with discount and looting innocent patients & their relatives.

their is no department in Pakistan who are inspecting these private clinics neither their is no medical practices audit in Pakistan, neither any guidelines given for different treatments for the diseases all is done under the term medical practices.

whereas Dr. Muhammad Ali Shah is having political affiliation with M.Q.M and seen lobbying their ministers this shows his mentality and shows why no body is asking & inquiring about this medical practices.

this is very unfortunately that, their are very limited investment done by government in the field of public health & hospital , once government establishes its hospital where its actually built upon 1000 time more cost then actual cost construction due to kick back, after that local political parties have influence in the operation of such government public hospitals, as well as deputation and posting of doctors, ultimately purpose this discouragement is to diverted patients to private hospital who are adhering lowest medical treatment and qualification standards.

A.O Clinic Karachi is operating from Bungalow and its Main Gate & Entrance and Patients laying on Stature
No proper paramedical staff deputed on gate to receive or guide traumatized patient and their relatives what will be next course of action and medical counselling, no proper triage point fixed, in-fact patients are admitted in hospital son as departing /recovered patients has paid medical bills and cleared all dues and this done in the evening time up-till 7. 00 pm onward patients have to wait to be shifted to wards and room and operations are done in the morning timing, thou staff paramedical & nurse staff are supportive and help.

Fleet of  expensive SUV's & Car owned by Dr. S.M.A.Shah (orthopedic Surgeon) Level of wealth accumulation done by A.O Clinic Owners
i found it very amazing if you own and run business of medical center you just hit jack pot or got gold egg laying duck its most lucrative/ money making business in Pakistan including maternity homes operating in each very union council/districts/ villages. if you review picture taken of SUV's & cars owned by Dr. S.M.A. shah family its show they are making money in exponential figures, thou they pertaining that they might discount or waive off medical expenses bill of destitute or deserving people but that not the true story they telling this their side of history that makes them hero  or philanthropist.

This in to their fault its the fault of government of Pakistan that they are allowing medical center/ clinic to do criminal offence in the name of medical practice by robbing patients its equal to financial crime committed by doctors, while they take oath that they will contribute in the society and will make money, their has to be prescribed medical fee structure according to qualification of the doctor, whereas he must show and word of mouth must be in market that he is contributing with his money & Skills Timing.

Dr. S.M.A. shah has build this hospital with scratch and their son's are not maintaining same standards and reinvesting into medical institute, they medical treatment they are offering

Brief History of Dr. Syed Muhammad Ali Shah (Orthopedic Surgeon) as extracted from Wikipedia

Dr. Syed Muhammad Ali Shah (Urduسید محمد علی شاہ‎) (26 October 1946 – 4 February 2013) was a Pakistani orthopaedic surgeon and member of the Pakistan Cricket Board governing board. He was the Provincial Sports Minister of Sindh. He was also the Chief de Mission for Pakistani athletes in the Commonwealth Games 2010.

Background and death[edit]

Dr Shah was born on 26 October 1946 in BareillyIndia and belonged to a Sunni family. His father, Syed Asghar Ali Shah, served as a judge for many years.
Dr Shah died on 4 February 2013 in Houston after suffering a heart attack and kidney failure during chemotherapy. He went into a coma just before his death.[citation needed]

Surgical career[edit]

Dr Shah returned to Pakistan from England in 1985 and established himself as an orthopedic surgeon in Karachi. He soon set up his own orthopedic and trauma hospital, the AO Clinic, which was extremely successful. In his career he is estimated to have performed about 76,000 operations.[1]

Political career[edit]

Shah was a member of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement. In 2008 the general election, he was elected to the Sindh Assembly from PS-103 (North NazimabadKarachi). He became provincial Minister of Sports of the province of Sindh.

Cricket[edit]

Shah was also known for his passion for cricket. He devoted 10 per cent of the AO Clinic's revenues to supporting cricket in Pakistan, and in 1993 he created Asghar Ali Shah Cricket Stadium in North NazimabadKarachi. The stadium hosts the Dr Mohammad Ali Shah Night Twenty20 Cricket Tournament every year in the month of Ramadan.[1]
Following an attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team in Lahore in 2009, international cricket experienced a halt in Pakistan as foreign teams refused to tour the country over security concerns. Consequently, the Pakistani cricket team hosted home tournaments in neutral venues such as the United Arab Emirates. In October 2012, Shah was credited as having played an instrumental role in reviving international cricket in the country after a period of three and a half years when, in his capacity as Sindh sports minister, he arranged an international world XI team – consisting of former and current players from Sri Lanka, South Africa, West Indies, United States and Afghanistan – to play two T20 matches against a "Pakistan All Stars" consisting mainly of players from the national team. The games took place in front of packed crowds at the National Stadium, Karachi. While the matches were unofficial, they were seen as a milestone as this was the first instance when foreign players toured Pakistan to play cricket since the attack on the Sri Lankan team.[2][3]
